You might be a summer salesman if....

You have tan lines like these.

You wear the same thing everyday.

You have an impressive collection of hats.

This post is for my awesome Hubby Dave. He has been working so hard out here in TX and I am way proud of him. Love you Dave!

Summertime

This summer has been so much fun so far! I could write about everything, but it would basically be a novel. So here are pictures of what has been happening this summer.

Dave graduated and had his 26th Birthday!

Here we are in Texas.

Jesse graduated from MCHS! Way to go Jesse I'm so proud of you!!!

I went home to visit, and we drove to San Diego to see the Jewells.

I love this video of us at the Padres game.

My Dad was called as a Bishop in a student ward. He will be the best bishop ever. I really look up to him for being such a wonderful person. Love you Dad!

Texas

Well we have been in Texas for about a week and half now. We are having a great time! Dave is doing well with sales and I am enjoying the home life.

The weather was crazy when we first arrived. This is a video of Dave trying to drive to his area to sell.

After 2 or 3 tornado warnings the weather has finally gone back to normal. Tuesday I even got a little sunburn. We are glad to be here and feel so blessed that all is going well. Here is a picture of our apartment. I will try to post more pictures soon, but it might be hard because my camera broke! SAD!!!!!

Other good news, I passed my PRAXIS test!!! I was so excited! Or as Dad would say the "Practice" test.

Graduation Presents

My parents and I were at lunch the other day and we got talking about my little brother Jesse graduating. Then my parents asked if I got a high school graduation present, I said ya we went on a trip! But I guess that wasn't the present. So my parents said I could get my present now. And this is what I got. ( Thanks Mom and Dad!)

I have sewn a few things before, and I love it! My mom is a very talented seamstress and I am excited to learn from her. I have done one project already. Here is the proof that I can in fact be self-reliant!

Before

After. I made this lovely curtain for my downstairs bathroom. I was so proud, although don't look too close there are imperfections.

Dave is also getting a graduation present, only his is for college!! This is what he wanted.
